The year was 1982. Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery had recently moved to Ohio from Buffalo, New York. All was fine until one day when the two were craving wings. Not just ordinary wings, but authentic Buffalo, New York-style chicken wings. Hence, the beginning of Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, now Buffalo Wild Wings®, the welcoming neighborhood atmosphere with a front-row seat for every sports fan that offers 21 mouth-watering signature sauces and seasonings.

The scope would be print advertisements in trade and business publications as well as outdoor advertisements that would be strategically place in the city as well as around the state.

One of the leading smart-phone accessories companies, Case-Mate requested the development of a value conscious, fun and lighthearted brand that would allow them to stand apart from their competitors in new retail markets. Utilizing a bright color palette and visual aesthetic the brand communicates playfulness, quality and fun.

Tasked with updating a line of Marvel smart-phone and tablet cases, retail packaging and point of purchase display. The case designs are representative of the more popular and relevant super heroes in the Marvel universe. The packaging design achieves the need for product visibility and brand recognition in a retail environment. (2013)

The web design and integration achieves the need for product showcase and brand recognition in an online retail environment. (2011)

A limited edition set of smart-phone and tablet case designs were needed for Case-Mates' licensing of Marvel's The Avengers movie. The outcome is a set of cases that is a nod to the success of the blockbuster movie, while still being unique enough to stand on their own to a broader audience. (2012)

Packaging template design for the full product line of iPhone accessories for the U.S. Army and Case-Mate. The goals of the project were increased visibility, legibility, and brand recognition. The strong brand colors of black and gold were utilized along with a digital camouflage pattern and imagery to bring contrast and motion to the product, while retaining the strong U.S. Army brand. Tasked with developing a set of smart-phone and tablet cases, retail packaging and point of purchase display for licensing with Mossy Oak Camouflage. The case designs are representative of the more popular patterns in the Mossy Oak catalog. The packaging design achieves the need for product visibility and brand recognition in a retail environment. Tasked with updating the line of Coca-Cola smart-phone and tablet cases for Case-Mate. The case designs are a throwback to the classic coke aesthetic.

A limited edition set of smart-phone case designs were needed for Case-Mates' licensing of Coca-Cola. The outcome is a set of cases that is a mix of both the current and classic iconography that is Coca-Cola.

Packaging template design for the full Case-Mate product line as well as a special edition line of recycled cases called. The goals of the project were increased visibility, legibility, and to to be set apart visually from competitors in the retail space. The use of a thin pressure formed metal cap with integrated hang tag was integral in the ability to be set apart on the peg. The recycled case packaging form and tray are raw and recycled and the ink used is soy to compliment the product.

On September 1, 2012 AT&T Opened their Flagship Retail Store on Chicago's Famed Magnificent Mile.

Case-Mate was tasked with working with Chicago artists and sports teams to design cases that would be displayed and sold exclusively at the new 10,000 Square-Foot Space that Showcases What Consumers Can Do With AT&T Products, Innovations and Wireless Technology.

Started in late 2010 and continuing through 2013 Case-Mate's "I Make My Case" brand pioneered case customization in the mobile accessories industry. Allowing a user to manipulate art from renowned graphic designers, major recording artists, tattoo artists, NCAA schools and many more.The customer could also upload their own personal images to the case customizer application. The final design then being printed onto a smart-phone or tablet case. Artists ranging from Nine Inch Nails, Yo Gabba Gabba, Chuck Anderson, Thomas Hooper, Joshua Davis, Metric, and more were featured in the I Make My Case library.

Packaging, poster peg and hanging display design for the Walmart/Case-Mate "Customize Your Case" program. Allowing customers to purchase a redeemable code to customize a smart-phone case with any high resolution image they upload to Case-Mate's I Make My Case user interface or turn in to a Walmart photo center.
